Registered business

Content Brook Way Documentation Services is the official registered business name. We were established in 2019 in Gwangju, South Korea, to address a gap we observed repeatedly: trustees appointed to manage shared cold storage arrangements received keys and devices but no readable record of what they were responsible for.

Origin

Our founder, Min-seok Choi, spent twelve years as an estate administrator before encountering a family whose Bitcoin custody spanned three hardware wallets, two safety deposit boxes, and four signers across two countries. The legal trust documents mentioned “digital assets” in a single clause. Nobody had written down which device held which key, or what to do if one signer became incapacitated.

That engagement — producing a 140-page custody binder over six weeks — became our first commission and the template for every project since.

What we do

We are documentarians, not technologists. We do not set up wallets, hold keys, or execute transactions. We sit with trustees, photograph devices, map signer roles, and write the reference materials that make shared custody legible to the next person in line.

Our work sits at the intersection of estate administration and cold storage record-keeping. Every binder we produce is grounded in the specific devices, people, and storage locations of that client’s arrangement.

Our team

• Min-seok Choi — Founder, lead documentarian. Former estate administrator with certification in Korean trust administration (한국신탁관리사).
• Yuna Jeong — Senior documentation specialist. Background in archival science; manages device inventory sessions and photograph indexing.
• Jae-hoon Kim — Trustee liaison. Conducts briefing consultations and coordinates on-site visits across the Honam region.

Working approach

We work slowly and verify everything twice. Custody documentation errors can lock families out of their assets for years. Our process includes mandatory draft review by all active signers before binding, and we refuse to skip the on-site inventory step when hardware wallets are involved.

We maintain no proprietary software, no subscription service, and no ongoing monitoring contracts. You receive physical materials you own outright.
